The evening begins with a reception at 6 pm followed by a seated 4-course dinner created by Chef Hugo Ortega. Master Sommelier Nick Hetzel will join us for the dinner. Hartford Court
Founded in 1994 by Don and Jennifer Hartford, Hartford Family Winery is located in the Sonoma County town of Forestville, 15 miles from the Pacific Coast. They pride themselves on making delicious wines of high personality due to the difficult locations of their vineyard sources, the limited production of their bottlings, and the varietals they use. Hartford Family Winery specializes in Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and Old Vine Zinfandel.
Nick Hetzel
Nick began his more than 20-year career in the hotel and restaurant industry in the back of the house, cooking for numerous James Beard award-winning chefs. His passion for food led to his 15-year sommelier career. In the summer of 2013, Hetzel earned the most prestigious title a sommelier can achieve by passing the Master Sommelier Diploma exam. He joined Jackson Family Wines in August 2017 as the Director of Wine Education.
